Description

  • Thanks to its special acidic composition, almond oil integrates very well with the hydrolipidic film, hindering the evaporation of skin water. It therefore enjoys moisturising properties, ideal for dry skin, elasticising and protective.

  • Commonly used in many cosmetic products due to its moisturising and nourishing properties. Glycerine is a natural humectant that helps retain water in the skin, keeping the skin moisturised and soft. It also helps improve the texture and appearance of the skin, making it smoother and smoother. In summary, plant glycerine is an effective active to moisturise and nourish the skin, leaving it soft and healthy.

  • is an alkaloid contained in coffee beans. It is very similar to theobromine (found in cocoa) and theophylline (found in tea). These three alkaloids, which are widespread in the plant world, are called xanthines. Caffeine has a known thermogenic and lipolytic action, which makes it very useful in the cosmetic treatment of cellulite blemishes.

  • Cyclodextrins are cyclic oligosaccharides

produced by molecular breakdown of starch by the enzyme Cyclodextrinaglucosyltransferase (CGT); they are therefore to be considered biotechnological products obtained from raw materials of entirely vegetable origin. In addition to the remarkable moisturising properties specific to the cyclic sugar molecule, cyclodextrins ensure, thanks to their known controlled-release properties, a significant increase in the activity of the complexed functional substance and a significant decrease in any irritation problems associated with the active substance in free form. In this case, the functional substance is bromelain, which can help reduce skin inflammation and moisturise dry skin, improving its appearance.

  • high molecular weight hyaluronic acid contributes significantly to creating a protective film on the skin, improving and prolonging hydration over time. In the body, it plays a very important role in the composition of connective tissue where it is involved in maintaining the degree of hydration, turgidity, viscosity and plasticity. In the simplest terms, hyaluronic acid forms a sort of scaffolding that allows the tissue to maintain its tone and, thanks to its ability to bind and retain water, ensures the maintenance of skin hydration. The high molecular weight ensures intense moisturising power and gives the skin an immediate and lasting tightening effect.

  • has a lower moisturising action, but on the other hand has the advantage of being able to act on the stimulation of the deeper layers of the epidermis: – increases the content of hyaluronic acid – rejuvenates the skin – improves elasticity and firmness. Its low molecular weight guarantees a plumping effect and this enables it to exert a repairing, regenerating activity, increasing the elasticity of the skin.

  • plant of the Ruscaceae family native to Europe with remarkable vasoprotective properties: this property is due to the high content of steroid saponins and ruscogenin in the roots, from which the extract comes, which allows the tonification of the vessels in the mycorcirculation. This means greater elasticity of the pre-capillary sphincters and no excessive dilatation of the vessels themselves.

  • primitive plant also known as horsetail boasts numerous cosmetic properties for the skin. Rich in antioxidants, silica and molecules with astringent properties, horsetail is used to restore tone and elasticity to facial and body skin. Indicated for the prevention of skin ageing and cellulite, but also for toning, firming, remineralising and purifying the skin.

  • Thanks to its richness in mucopolysaccharides, Aloe vera has a remarkable ability to retain water, thus being regenerating and effective in the treatment of dehydrated skin. It has an extraordinary ability to penetrate and deeply moisturise the skin. It also has a soothing, anti-reddening and calming action. It is mainly used as a moisturiser and soother, but also has antifungal and antimicrobial properties.

  • has excellent soothing and emollient properties, perfect for softening and moisturising dry, dehydrated skin. It is an ester consisting of unsaturated long-chain linear alcohols (C20 and C22 in particular as well as C24) and pure unsaturated long-chain linear fatty acids (C20 in particular as well as C22 and C18). This lipid fraction constitutes about 50% of the total and it is to it that the protective and moisturising properties useful for delicate skin are attributed.

  • is rich in tocopherol and gamma-oryzanol. It therefore possesses antioxidant properties, against cellular ageing and free radicals. Rice oil is characterised by emollient, soothing, toning and moisturising properties due to the presence of oleic and linoleic acids and palmitic acid.

  • is the esterified form of Vitamin E with acetic acid. In this way, the phenolic hydroxyl is protected from oxidation and only upon hydrolysis of the bond is Vitamin E released, which can then fulfil its functions. This occurs once the ingredient has been absorbed into the skin. Vitamin E is known for its antioxidant, radical scavenger (i.e. free radical neutralising), emollient and highly soothing/reddening properties. It keeps the skin smooth, soft and supple and limits water loss from the epidermis, preserving skin hydration.
