- Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 1998 with 110/110 cum laude.
- Qualified to practice medicine in 1999 at the University of Brescia.
- Specialization in General Surgery in 2004 with full marks.
- He attended the Department of Transplant Surgery at the Hautpierre University Hospital in Strasbourg.
- Winner of the competition for University Researcher in 2003 at the University of Brescia.
- Appointed Associate Professor in 2014 at the University of Brescia.
- In 2019 he worked as a vascular surgeon at various hospitals including “Piccole Figlie” in Parma and the Valparma hospital in Langhirano.
- Medical Director of the Vein Clinic Brescia since 2020
Teaching activity:
- Professor of General Surgery in the degree courses in Biotechnology, Medicine and Surgery.
- Expert in the subject for various integrated courses in Vascular
- Surgery and Clinical Surgery.
- Tutor for the internship of the state exam for the qualification to the profession of Surgeon since 2003.

- Investigator in prospective, multicenter, double-blind, international randomized studies.
- Member of various scientific societies including the Italian Society of General Surgery and the Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.

- Role of inflammation in chronic peripheral arterial disease.
- Virological evaluation of the aneurysmal wall.
- Thrombolytic and surgical treatment of acute ischemia of the lower limbs.
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm and associated pathologies.

- Co-author of numerous scientific publications in general and vascular surgery journals.
